Meet the Recipients of the 2018 Aggies for Fresh Scholarship

As the DMA Solutions team gears up to tackle the Viva Fresh Expo, we’re excited for many different reasons – one being that we are proud Texans and look forward to attending the tradeshow in our neighboring city. However, the convenience and intimacy the Texan-esque tradeshow provides is excellent for new attendees and for seasoned industry leaders alike. There is one other sweet addition that we adore the most, and that would be the attendance of Texas A&M students that have the opportunity to attend the tradeshow through the partnership of the Aggies for Fresh campaign and Texas International Produce Association (TIPA).

As we embark on the third year of bringing talented Aggies to Viva Fresh show, we cannot be more grateful for the generosity of industry leaders who take the time to meet with each student on the tradeshow floor. As a thank you, we’ve prepared the ultimate Internship Guide as a useful resource for companies looking to add an intern or apprentice to your team.

This year, through the Aggies for Fresh scholarship, nine top performing students were hand selected by Dan’l Mackey Almy and will walk the show floor with the DMA Solutions team. In addition, Viva Fresh attendees will be able to mingle with the students during the Aggies for Fresh reception taking place Friday, April 6 from 4:30 – 5:30 pm.
